I'm just a Bill

Well, i fell i should let everyone know that i've decided not to go on the Santorum trip to ensure that i am fully recovered for the wedding. Instead, i will be here at AU making phone calls and other tasks for Santorum. Its kinda sad, but i do have a long stay at AU so i'll do something like that another time. I thought i should let everyone know that i hav officially given up on math and science. This next story will probably be hilarious and i'll get plenty of comments, but it needs to be told. I took my first Statistics exam the other day and i'm working through it and i come to question about the certain percentage of jumps. It is really just making sure i can interpret a histogram chart, but it asked what percent of the jumps were at least 85 inches. Well, there were 100 total jumps, and i calculated that between 70 and 75 there were 10 jumps, between 75 and 80 there were 40 jumps, and between 80 and 84.99999 there were 15 jumps. That was 65 out of 100, so i go to circle the answer and it isn't there! I'm tired and annoyed so i got the professor and raise my voice to him "the answer isn't there, i've done all my calculations perfectly!" He says go look at the chart. I say look, here are the jumps, the first 10 jumps were between 70 and 75 and ""70 is at least 85"" Wow, i couldn't believe i said that, it was very embarrasing, so i circled 35 percent turned in my exam and left. i'm now career politcs! Anyway i know everyone likes the pics, so i'll keep them coming, here's one at dinner!

well, i went to Congress today. I really don't know how to describe my excitment, i guess it would be like being in the lockeroom of the your favorite team. I saw 8 Senators and met 2, incleding the Edward Kennedy, the second longest seated Senator, he's been there since JFK's assasination. I saw trent Lott speak in the Senate, i was on the observation deck, i also met George Allen, republican from Virginia while i was attendind a committee hearing. It was so awesome! Anyway, i'm headed to the Phillies game tonight, and i'll be quite angry if they don't gain back ground in the wild card. It should be fun, then opn thursday we have our second game against the graduate school buisness kids. Its kinda busy, but it's really cool, i know it may seem geky to be so excited to meet these politicians, but i don't care, i live in the greatest city on planet earth, (well not for sports, but everything else)

hello everyone, i am sorry, this sickness isn't too fun and i'm not updating as much as i should, but i wanted to start out by thanking grandmom and grandpop for their latest card, it really helps because every wednesday i have to buy a metro card for my class in the city so i promise it will be put towards that, thank you very much. The work load is a little rough, but its coming along. Iwas very sad today because i couldn't see the eagles. it was the first game in a very long time that i missed, but those are the sacrifices, i guess. But on the bright side, the phillies are coming back to D.C. I hope to get to the wednesday game, 3 dollars a seat baby! it should be awesome because they actually have a big shot, they have a 1/2 game lead with a 1 game floater, but we'll see. Hopefully i'll be well enough to campaign for senator santorum next weekend, but top priority is getting well for the wedding in 2 weeks! Our football team on the terrace won our game, 26-0! the picture is us at half time, i know i got the hands on the hips, the team almost gave up a score before half and i wasn't happy. well, not much else, got a paper to write so i'll update later...

Hey everybody, I'm sick, yea! I am just surprised i lasted this long, but mom equipped me with more medication than a hospital so i'll be alright. Since i did get word, i'm going to make the news official. I applied for the model Untied Nations team. Its not like high school, i had to fill out an application and interview. There were a lot of people to fill only 28 spots and there were a lot of upperclassmen already on the team, so chances were slim. I went on the interview, spoke well, explained policies and flashed my world championship seinor year, but it looked like they already had their team. Well, i got an e-mail late last night saying that i was one of few freshmen chosen. its awesome, i think i can go far in this club as well as republicans. I'll keep you all updated.

Hello all, once again, it has been a pretty boring week and i hate the giants more than ever, jevon kearse is gone and i spent yesterday in mourning. Look, i don't care who says what, the eagles were the better team, we were down two top corners and sacked ELI 8 times! Tiki Barber was held to nothing, the Giants had the lucky fumble recovery touchdown, and trent cole did not commit that penalty! Now i have to listen to the Giants Fan on the floor all week. Anyway, i've got done 2 out of three papers for this week and most of my reading, i'm slowly learning that (contrary to popular belief) procrastination is not the key to success. :-( But its all good, our floor has a flag football team, practice today and game on thursday. I'm starting center and noseguard, and i'm co-captian and sort of a coach, so i'm happy. Our team is called the terror squad, because we are Mcdowell Hall Terrace. we have a good time as a floor, we all watched empire Strikes Back at 3 oclock in the morning on Saturday. But don't worry, i'm getting all my work done! Have fun everyone.

Saturday, September 16, 2006

Well, friday was pretty cool, i got back from class hung around, then a giant group of us ordered chinese for dinner and played risk. All those friday nights at Pat Burke's house paid off, cause i won, destroyed em' all, then we watched the sub plot to anchorman "Wake-Up Ron Burgundy," it was a dropped plot from the movie turned into a short film, then we saw stewie griffin the untold story, it was a riot. And dad, tell your guys in work that use facebook (can you remember that name) to search for exact wording "Supporters of the V22 Osprey" in facebook. jake created a group, that has 3 members, but its growing. Anyway, its pretty hilarious, we love it. But yeah, Sat. is for papers and Sunday is the game, i'm pretty sure its on TV, die hard eagles fan (me) vs. die hard giants fan on the floor, should be fun!

Hey all, sorry i've havent posted in a while, but nothing has been happening! I've been in and out of class, reading, and writing, but hey i gotta do that stuff too. Eagles are on top of the division for 1 week, i guess, but it getting to be election time here, and its pretty cool, some campaign stuff this weekend, i also got christian a shirt, that i'll try to send him. Went to the national archives for our DC lab today, but all icould thing about was Nicholas Cage...just kidding, those documents are really cool and i'm glad i got to see them, so i'll try to keep you updated, but sometimes its just class...which i have to go to soon.

well, the phillies lost 2 in a row, but the eagles won baby! Yeah its just the texans, but stallworth looked amazing as did westbrook, and Bucks not lookin bad, the defense needs a test though, we'll see, though there were 5 sacks. Anyway, gotta finish some work and such, but it is possible that i may come up to Philly on the 29th and 30th for Rick santorum...not definite but maybe. here are some pics from the event as well, just in case there were non believers.

This picture was from our outing to the phillies game 2 weeks ago. This is one of my friends Mike, the "RA" he is actually a freshman, but he helps keep the upstairs losers out of our basement,so thats his nickname. He is a Yankee fan, but he's okay. anyway, tonight i'm watching anchorman with a bunch of people and it should be cool, but this is just a photographic update. Go phils!

Thursday, September 07, 2006

well, i argued with liberals over the quality of a memoir in college writng, they attacked the quality of the man instead of the bok like they were supposed to. Anyway, last night was republicans meeting and it was awesome, i paid my dues and got a free shirt. It says "the Good" (with a republican symbol), "the Bad" (democrats symbol), and "the ugly" (with a picture of hilary clinton)! A bumper sticke that says "fight crime, shoot back" and PETA People Eating Tasty Animals- anyone see the PETA south park??? Anyway, it was fun and go Santorum! This weekend should be interesting..............................................................................................................

Well, classes resume and so does incohesive thinking. I basically raised my hand in politics class today and the professor just let me go... And i went. For a good 30 minutes i talked and spread republican ideas. I then went and aced my first college grade on a quiz in LIT on shakespeare. Then they talked about impressionism and since I stink at that stuff i was kinda quiet. I then went to Stat and the professor was quite boring and i got my homework done. At night i went to our floor council meeting and it was intersting, next week we'll get stuff done...I guess. Tommorow its off to my first DC lab and then yee-haw for college republicans at 11pm.

Oh my God, i just met Rick Santorum, and his wife. It was one of the most thrilling moments in my life. We were lining the entrance to NBC studios awaiting his arrival. He would be coming in a car, but nt likely to stop. His escalade rode up and he tapped the driver when he saw our signs and he stopped and got out of the car to shake our hands and talk. I wore my phillies hat. He said to one kid "i don't about the Mets hat, but thanks for coming" He then saw me and said, "ah, there's my supporter a republican phillies fan" I shook his hand said i was born in Philly and my family lives in Northeast and my Dad works at Boeing on the V-22. He said that he supported that and was glad to see someone with connections to PA. It was thrilling, and i am going to work for his campaign for re-election. What a morning!
